An Evening with Fran Lebowitz
The Pabst Theater
In a cultural landscape filled with endless pundits and talking heads, Fran Lebowitz stands out as one of our most insightful social commentators.
Her essays and interviews offer her acerbic views on current events and the media – as well as pet peeves including tourists, baggage-claim areas, after-shave lotion, adults who roller skate, children who speak French, or anyone who is unduly tan.

Girls Rock Camper Showcase
Girls Rock MKE is a one-week summer day camp for girls and non-binary youth ages 8-16. Youth campers of all skill levels learn an instrument (guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, or vocals), form a band, write an original song, and perform their song on stage at an end-of-camp showcase for friends, family and fans.
The mission of Girls Rock MKE, and its adult program Ladies Rock MKE, is to empower marginalized genders including girls, women (cis & trans), and non-binary folks — of all backgrounds and abilities — through music education and performance. Girls Rock MKE is committed to fostering independent thinking, building self-esteem, and bridging cultural and social divides in a supportive community of peers and mentors who demonstrate: it's okay to be who you are!
